The Cable has Landed

 EastPoint now has the fastest international connectivity from Ireland to the United Kingdom, as it has welcomed in the park Sea Fibre Networks and CeltixConnect.  The cable will empower the infinite growth of data driven by cloud computing, online gaming, social media and mobile data devices.  The Cable Innovator ship docked into Dublin Port on the 12th December 2011, where it was commencing the final construction of cable.  The new data cable has been live from the end of January 2012 where it has been connected to the Cable Landing Station situated at EastPoint.

CeltixConnect is linking Ireland to the United Kingdom, Europe and the rest of the World and is the first European subsea cable laid in eleven years.
